Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the Application.
Words with capitalised initial letters have the meanings set out below. The definitions apply whether they appear in singular or plural.
These Terms govern the use of the Service and form the agreement between You and the Company. Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on Your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. By using the Service You agree to be bound by them. If You disagree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Service.
The Service is not directed to anyone under the age of 16. If You are under the age of majority where You live, You may use the Service only with the permission of a parent or guardian.
Your use of the Service is also subject to Our Privacy Policy.
GroupVideo lets one device (the host) share a video from its own storage with other devices on the same local network, and keeps playback synchronised between them.
The Application provides no content of its own, hosts no content, and operates no online service. It does not require an account and does not connect to any server operated by the Company. All communication in a Session happens directly between the devices taking part, over your own Wi-Fi network or a temporary network created by the host device.
You choose what to play. You are solely responsible for ensuring that You hold the necessary rights to play and share that Content with the people in Your Session, and that doing so is lawful where You are.
The Company does not review, store, transmit or have any access to Your Content. Because there is no server in the middle, We have no ability to inspect, moderate or remove anything played through the Application.
You agree not to:
These Terms apply from the moment You install the Application and continue until You stop using it. Because the Service involves no account and no server, We cannot suspend or terminate access to it remotely.
You may end this agreement at any time by uninstalling the Application, which also removes everything it has stored on Your Device. We may cease distributing or updating the Application at any time; that will not affect a copy already installed on Your Device.
The Service is provided to You "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", with all faults and defects and without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, the Company, on its own behalf and on behalf of its licensors, expressly disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory or otherwise, including all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement.
In particular, and without limiting the foregoing, the Company makes no representation or warranty that the Service will meet Your requirements, be compatible with any particular device, operate without interruption, or be free of errors or defects.
Wireless networking varies enormously between devices, manufacturers and places. Whether two particular devices can find and connect to one another, and whether playback stays synchronised, depends on hardware, Android version, manufacturer customisations and local radio conditions that are outside Our control. We do not warrant that any given pair of devices will connect successfully.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations on a consumer's statutory rights, so some or all of the above may not apply to You. In that case these exclusions apply to the greatest extent enforceable under applicable law.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the Company be liable for any special, incidental, indirect or consequential damages whatsoever, including damages for loss of profits, loss of data, business interruption, or arising out of or in any way related to Your use of or inability to use the Service, even if the Company has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
The Application is provided free of charge. Notwithstanding any damages You might incur, the entire liability of the Company under any provision of these Terms, and Your exclusive remedy, shall be limited to the amount You actually paid for the Application, which will ordinarily be nil.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, which means some of the above limitations may not apply. In those jurisdictions liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
The laws of Gujarat, India, excluding its conflict of law rules, govern these Terms and Your use of the Service. Your use of the Application may also be subject to other local, state, national or international laws.
If You have a concern or dispute about the Service, You agree to try first to resolve it informally by contacting the Company at support@omeecron.tech.
If You are a consumer in the European Union, You benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which You are resident, and nothing in these Terms affects those rights.
You represent and warrant that You are not located in a country subject to a United States government embargo or designated by the United States government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that You are not listed on any United States government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be changed and interpreted so as to accomplish its objectives to the greatest extent possible under applicable law, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
A failure to exercise a right, or to require performance of an obligation, under these Terms does not affect the ability to exercise that right or require performance later, and a waiver of a breach is not a waiver of any subsequent breach.
We may modify or replace these Terms at Our discretion. Where a revision is material We will make reasonable efforts to give notice before it takes effect, and the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change. By continuing to use the Service after a revision takes effect, You agree to be bound by the revised Terms. If You do not agree, please stop using the Service.
