The short version: GroupVideo: Watch With Friends has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no servers of ours. We do not collect, store, transmit or sell any personal information. Your videos never leave your phone except to the people you invite into a room on your own local network.
This policy describes GroupVideo: Watch With Friends (the "app", the "Service", referred to below as "GroupVideo"), an Android application published by Omeecron Solutions, Gujarat, India ("we", "us", "our"). It applies to everyone who installs and uses the app.
Nothing. The app has no backend. There is no server that receives information about you, your device, your videos or your usage. Specifically, we do not collect:
The app stores a small amount of information locally so it can work. This never leaves your phone, and it is deleted when you uninstall the app.

When you host or join a room, information is exchanged directly between the phones present, over your local Wi-Fi or the host's hotspot. It does not travel over the internet and it does not pass through us.
When the room ends, none of this is retained by anyone.
Every permission the app declares is listed here, with the reason it is needed. None of them is used to collect information about you.

The app deliberately does not ask for broad access to your photos and videos. Videos are chosen through Android's own file picker, which grants access only to the exact file you select.
The app is not directed to anyone under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone of any age — there is no mechanism in the app by which we could. The same age applies in our Terms and Conditions. If you are a parent or guardian with a question, please contact us.
Sessions are protected by a secret that exists only inside the host's QR code. A device that has not scanned that code is refused by the room and cannot retrieve the video. When the host uses their own hotspot, that network is protected with a randomly generated password that changes every session.
Traffic within a session travels over your local network in the clear, as is normal for local media streaming. Anyone who has already been admitted to the room can see the video being played — which is the point of the app.
The app contains no advertising networks, no analytics SDKs and no social media trackers. Nothing about you is sold, shared or disclosed, because nothing about you is collected.
Because nothing is held anywhere but your own device, uninstalling the app removes everything. You can also clear the app's data from Android Settings at any time. There is no account to close and no request to make of us.
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new date at the top. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
This policy is governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Gujarat, India have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from it.
